Sales Manager


Job Purpose:

Implement to the fullest the Commercial strategy and lead Commercial activities within the region of responsibility. Ensure the achievement of the agreed growth objectives in terms of profitability, market share and operational efficiency. Strengthen company's commercial punch and build stronger relationships with our customers.


Key accountabilities


• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs.

• Ensure that new opportunities are fully investigated and proper propositions for sales development in the region of operations are made, to expand current business relationships and develop new clientele.

• Ensure the effective implementation of the annual business plan (ABP – budget) to contribute to its overall effectiveness and efficiency.

• Ensure that agreed organizational performance KPI’s are met within budgets and timescales.

• Establish, improve and maintain effective relations with key accounts personnel, develop detailed knowledge of their decision-making process and gather important information that assess their level of satisfaction.

• Provide company management with reports from ongoing (dynamic) analysis regarding market conditions, competition and sales activities (sales forecasting). Justify the reasons for any deviations & take corrective actions, to be aligned with the agreed budget.

• Ensure all invoices are collected with agreed timeliness i.e. No Overdue

• Assess commercial landscape (market size and growth potential, competition and industry trends monitoring, company's corporate image promotion, etc.) and the associated opportunities of existing or new products required for the accounts of responsibility.

• Develop detailed knowledge of the political, economic and cultural particularities affecting the countries of accountability.


Requirements

  • Business degree (Marketing or Sales preferably

  • MBA or other M.S. degree is desirable

  • Proficient use of the English language

  • Italian or Spanish language knowledge will be considered an asset

  • IT literate

  • ERP knowledge desired

  • 2-5 years of working experience in the B2B commercial area, preferably in a multinational company.

  • At least 2 years in managing key accounts.

  • Desired merchandising knowledge or cooling industry knowledge

  • Act as entrepreneur and Business Acumen

  • Expert negotiating and influencing skills
