JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a globally operating pharmaceutical contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), is looking for a:
BD Manager - EMEA Region
The aim is to expand, at an EMEA level, its output and customer base through new business development and offers a full range of development activities for Generics and Generics Plus.
BD experience, Technical background and an understanding of R&D service in the Pharmaceutical industry, are mandate.
Responsibilities:
Participate to the BD efforts to maximise company revenue and generate new business opportunities
Identify, evaluate, propose and bring on board new business leads and opportunities (Prospecting)
Present company and its offering to prospects, identifying common ground and suitable business model for cooperation
Overall management of contracts (existing customers, new deals)
Work closely with legal, financial and R&D teams to structure and finalize agreements
Closely interface with the other departments in order to effectively follow up on the appropriate contractual obligations to the client
Responsible in the business cases’ evaluation and proposal to the Head of BD + MD as appropriate, with the Strategy BDM
Oversee and manage the implementation of partnership agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
Monitor and report on the progress of partnerships and collaborations
Ensure timely invoicing in cooperation with Finance
Support the effective preparation and participation of the company in expos, conferences and other venues.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
Enhance the corporate identity of the company
To follow, promote and enforce relevant SOPs, Job Aids, and Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical / healthcare / life sciences industry
Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MS) in Business Administration (or equivalent)
Minimum 3years experience in Business development
Excellent English language knowledge, verbal and written
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills including contract negotiations and preparation
Ability to recognize problems and offer alternative solutions.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Occasional travel required for meetings, conferences, and partner visits
IT proficient (Excel, Word and Power Point)
Basic financial knowledge (PnL, pricing mechanisms etc.)
